Section 21-5-801 - Definitions

As used in this subchapter:(1) 'State agency' means any office, department, commission, council, board, bureau, committee, institution, legislative body, or other agency of this state; and(2) 'State officer' means elected state officials and members of commissions, boards, or other governmental bodies of state agencies.Acts 1987, No. 805, § 1.
