(a) A responsible public entity may issue a request for proposals or invitation for bids from private entities for the development of a qualifying project using the guidelines adopted under this chapter.(b) The responsible public entity may charge a reasonable, nonrefundable fee to cover the costs of processing, reviewing, and evaluating a proposal or bid under this section, including without limitation reasonable attorney's fees and fees for financial, technical, or other advisors or consultants.(c) A responsible public entity issuing a request for proposals or an invitation for bids under this section shall notify each affected local jurisdiction in the manner required by the rules promulgated under this chapter.Added by Act 2017, No. 813,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2017.
