Section 22-5-602 - Suit to recover value of cut timber and to restrain trespass

Whenever the Attorney General shall receive or obtain information that anyone is cutting timber upon state lands, it shall be the duty of the Attorney General to institute suit to recover the value of the timber that has been cut and to restrain further trespass upon the land.Acts 1931, No. 125, § 1; Pope's Dig., § 8726; A.S.A. 1947, § 10-306.
