Section 22-6-112 - Preference to war veterans in sale of agricultural land

In the disposition of state-owned tracts of lands suitable for agriculture, the Commissioner of State Lands shall give first preference, where they are qualified as farmers, to war veterans who have been bona fide citizens of this state for five (5) years or more, who have been in active military service in time of war for ninety (90) days or more, and who have been discharged or relieved therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable.Acts 1945, No. 292, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 10-501.
