The purpose of this subchapter is to establish procedures for the acquisition, disposal, and reassignment by the Department of Finance and Administration of automobiles and pickup trucks, as defined in § 22-8-203, to be acquired, owned, or otherwise disposed of by certain state agencies, boards, commissions, departments, and institutions of higher education.Acts 1983, No. 493, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 14-529.
