(a) Certified copies of the articles of incorporation together with copies of the charter issued by the Secretary of State and the order of the Arkansas Department of Transportation shall be filed in the office of the county clerk of each county through which the proposed line shall be situated or into which the proposed line shall extend.(b) Upon the filing of the articles in the office of the county clerk as provided in subsection (a) of this section, the corporation shall be subject to all liabilities otherwise provided by the law of this state except as such powers may be limited by the articles of incorporation.Amended by Act 2017, No. 707,§ 160, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1959, No. 30, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 73-308.1.
