Prior to the cancellation or termination of any liability, cargo, or property and casualty insurance policies issued on leased motor carriers, particularly motor carriers using tractor-trailor rigs, notice of the cancellation or termination shall be mailed or delivered by the insurer to the named insured, to any lienholder or loss payee named in the policy, and to any lessee registered with the insurer.Acts 1989, No. 646, § 1.
