As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Department' means the Arkansas Department of Transportation;(2) 'Motor vehicle' means any automobile, truck, trailer, semitrailer, tractor, motor bus, or other self-propelled or motor-driven vehicle used upon any of the public highways of the state for the purpose of transporting persons or property; and(3) 'Person' means and includes any individual, firm, copartnership, corporation, company, or association or their lessees, trustees, or receivers.Acts 1939, No. 315, §§ 1-4; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 73-1730 -- 73-1733.
