In case of failure on the part of any person to comply with any lawful order of the Arkansas Department of Transportation, or with any subpoena or subpoena duces tecum, or to testify concerning any matter on which he or she may be lawfully interrogated, any court of record of general jurisdiction or a judge thereof upon application of the department may compel obedience by proceedings for contempt as in the case of disobedience of the requirements of a subpoena issued from the court, or of the refusal to testify therein.Amended by Act 2017, No. 707,§ 228, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1939, No. 315, § 8; A.S.A. 1947, § 73-1737.
