Section 23-16-204 - Employer not to select sureties

No common carrier authorized to do business in this state, when requiring of an employee that he or she give it a bond or undertaking of any nature whatsoever, shall require the employee to have the bond or undertaking executed by any particular person, company, corporation, association, or firm or by any one (1) or more of any number of such persons, companies, corporations, associations, or firms named by the common carrier as surety.Acts 1911, No. 166, § 1; C. & M.
