Arkansas Legal Code
Every common carrier, as defined by § 23-16-301, shall carry uninsured motorist liability insurance or shall become a self-insurer, in not less than the limits described in § 27-19-605, for the protection of passengers and operators of the common carrier who are legally entitled to recover damages from owners or operators of uninsured motor vehicles because of bodily injury, sickness, or disease including death, resulting therefrom.Acts 1975, No. 893, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 73-2402; Acts 1987, No. 590, § 2.
