Section 23-18-318 - Members

(a)(1) All persons proposed to be served by a corporation shall be eligible to membership in a corporation.(2) No person other than the incorporators shall be, become, or remain a member of a corporation unless the person shall use or agree to use electric energy or, as the case may be, the facilities, supplies, equipment, and services furnished by a corporation.(b) A corporation organized under this subchapter may become a member of another such corporation and may avail itself fully of the facilities and services thereof.Acts 1937, No. 342, § 12; Pope's Dig., § 2326; A.S.A. 1947, § 77-1112; Acts 1999, No. 1556, § 16.
