(a) A registered out-of-state bank shall apply for an amended certificate of authority from the Bank Commissioner if it changes:(1) The name of the bank;(2) The period of its duration; or(3) The state or country under which it is chartered.(b) The requirements of § 23-48-1001 for applying for an original certificate of authority shall also apply to applications for obtaining an amended certificate of authority hereunder.Acts 1997, No. 408, § 20.
