(a)(1) All fees and charges collected by the State Board of Embalmers, Funeral Directors, Cemeteries, and Burial Services under this chapter shall be deposited into a cash fund deposited to the State Treasury.(2) The board is empowered to expend the funds for the requirements, purposes, and expenses of the board under the provisions of this chapter, upon a voucher approved by the board and signed by the Insurance Commissioner or his or her designee, provided that the total expense for every purpose incurred shall not exceed the total fees and charges collected by the board under the provisions of this chapter.(b) The operation of the board and the carrying out of the functions set out in this chapter shall be at no expense to the State of Arkansas.
