(a) The State Insurance Department shall develop and promulgate rules for the implementation and administration of this subchapter.(b) The State Board of Finance shall follow the rules promulgated by the department for administration of this subchapter for the plans providing health benefits to state and public school employees under § 21-5-401 et seq.(c) The department shall submit biannual reports to the Chair of the House Committee on Insurance and Commerce and the Chair of the Senate Committee on Insurance and Commerce.Amended by Act 2021, No. 1004,§ 22, eff. 4/28/2021.Amended by Act 2021, No. 955,§ 7, eff. 4/27/2021.Amended by Act 2015, No. 373,§ 1, eff. 7/22/2015.Added by Act 2013, No. 1226,§ 1, eff. 8/16/2013.
