The General Assembly finds that:(1) The State Board of Finance has a fiduciary obligation to explore cost-effective treatments for its members;(2) There are emerging technologies that could serve as cost-effective alternatives to surgical procedures; and(3) Clinical organizations are increasingly providing public guidance on quality treatment practices.Amended by Act 2021, No. 1004,§ 25, eff. 4/28/2021.Added by Act 2019, No. 391,§ 10, eff. 7/24/2019.
