Section 23-81-405 - Insurance Commissioner's authority to regulate

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Insurance Commissioner shall have sole authority to regulate the issuance and sale of variable contracts and to issue such reasonable rules and regulations as may be appropriate to carry out the purposes and provisions of this subchapter.Acts 1975, No. 728, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 66-3340; Acts 2001, No. 1382, § 4.
