Section 23-88-203 - Issuance of policy or renewal of contract prior to July 4, 1983

(a) 'Insurance policy' and 'contract' shall not be construed to mean a property insurance policy issued prior to July 4, 1983, or contract that is being renewed.(b) However, assignment of the insurance policy or contract because of the transfer of a major financial interest in the insured real property shall require completion of an antiarson application if otherwise required by this subchapter.Acts 1983, No. 359, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 66-5607.
