Section 23-98-105 - Issuance of minimum basic benefit policies permitted - Applicability

Insurers are authorized to issue minimum basic benefit policies pursuant to and in compliance with the provisions of this chapter to qualified individuals, qualified families, qualified trusts, and qualified groups. This chapter shall apply only to those minimum basic benefit policies issued under this chapter and rules issued by the Insurance Commissioner pursuant to the authority of this chapter. Nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to add to, detract from, or in any manner apply to policies, subscription contracts, benefits, or related activities under any other statutory or regulatory authorities.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2796, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1991, No. 238, § 3.
