Section 25-1-701 - Legislative intent

The General Assembly finds that:(1) It is the duty of the General Assembly to make determinations regarding the use of state personnel and state resources;(2) Making determinations about how state personnel and state resources shall be used is a function of the General Assembly;(3) The citizens of Arkansas have elected the members of the General Assembly to exercise the ability to make political determinations regarding the resources of the state; and(4) A determination or action taken under this subchapter is not a judicial determination or action.Added by Act 2021, No. 608,§ 2, eff. 7/28/2021.
