(a) The Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration is vested with the power and is charged with the duty of observing, administering, and enforcing the provisions of this chapter and of all laws regulating the operation of vehicles or the use of the highways, the enforcement or administration of which is vested in the Office of Motor Vehicle.(b) The secretary may adopt and enforce such rules as necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter and any other laws, the enforcement and administration of which are vested in the Office of Motor Vehicle.(c) The secretary may adopt an official seal for the use of the Office of Motor Vehicle.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4491, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by Act 2017, No. 448,§ 4, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1949, No. 142, § 20; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-120.
