Section 27-14-709 - Half-year license

Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any motor vehicle for which the annual registration and licensing fee is one hundred dollars ($100) or more, for any twelve-month licensing period, may be licensed for the first six (6) months of the annual licensing period, upon payment of one-half (½) of the annual registration and licensing fee, plus an additional fee of five dollars ($5.00) to defray the administrative cost of issuing the half-year license, under such rules as the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration may promulgate.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 3092, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4532, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1965 (1st Ex.
