Section 27-15-2301 - Definition

(a) 'Antique motorcycle' means a motorcycle that is at least twenty-five (25) years old and essentially unaltered from the original manufacturer's specifications and which is being collected, preserved, restored, or maintained by a hobbyist as a leisure pursuit.(b) Modifications or deviations from the original specifications may be permitted under this classification if the modifications or deviations are of an historic nature and characteristic of the approximate era to which the motorcycle belongs or if they could be considered to be in the category of safety features.Acts 1979, No. 397, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-201.14; Acts 2005, No. 2202, § 2.
