(a) Information in an emergency contact information system shall be accessible only to law enforcement for emergency notification purposes or by a court order and shall not be used in a criminal investigation or for any other purpose.(b) Law enforcement may share information contained in the system with other law enforcement officers on the scene as needed to conduct emergency notifications.Amended by Act 2017, No. 626,§ 4, eff. 1/29/2018.Added by Act 2013, No. 590,§ 1, eff. 8/16/2013.
