Section 27-16-606 - When residents and nonresidents to obtain state registration and license

(a) Within thirty (30) calendar days of becoming a resident, any person who is a resident of this state shall obtain an Arkansas driver's license in order to drive upon the streets and highways of this state.(b) Any nonresident who has been physically present in this state for a period of six (6) months shall obtain an Arkansas driver's license in order to drive upon the streets and highways of this state.Acts 1993, No. 445, § 43; 1999, No. 912, § 3.
