Section 27-19-304 - Penalty for operating motor vehicle when license or registration suspended or revoked

Any person whose license or registration has been suspended or revoked under this chapter and who, during the suspension or revocation, drives any motor vehicle upon any highway or knowingly permits any vehicle of a type subject to registration under the laws of this state owned by the person to be operated by another upon any highway, except as permitted under this chapter, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisoned not exceeding six (6) months, or both.Acts 1953, No. 347, § 82; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-1482.
