The purpose of this chapter is to:(1) Implement a special license plate law that transfers the authority for approving special license plates to the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration;(2) Continue the special license plates that existed before April 13, 2005; and(3) Authorize the Department of Finance and Administration to administratively reissue each type of special license plate continued under this chapter.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4704, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 2005, No. 2202, § 1.
