Section 27-24-104 - Reissuance

(a) Every special license plate continued under this chapter shall be discontinued on April 7, 2007, unless an application that meets the criteria for issuance of the special license plate under the appropriate subchapter governing that type of plate is submitted and approved by the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration at least ninety (90) days prior to April 1, 2007.(b) The secretary shall promulgate rules in accordance with the Arkansas Administrative Procedure Act, § 25-15-201 et seq., to carry out the duties of the Department of Finance and Administration under this chapter, including, but not limited to: (1) Rules regarding the disposal of old design special license plates;(2) The fee for the design-use contribution, which shall be based on the cost of initial orders of new designs for special license plates; and(3) The number of applications that must be received in lieu of the payment of the design-use contribution fee to cover the cost of the initial orders of new designs for special license plates.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4706, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4705, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 2005, No. 2202, § 1.
