Section 27-51-1309 - Backing of vehicles

(a) The driver of a vehicle shall not back a vehicle upon any roadway unless the movement can be made with reasonable safety and without interfering with other traffic.(b) The driver of a vehicle shall not back a vehicle on any access road, entrance ramp, exit ramp, shoulder, or road surface of any controlled-access highway.Acts 2001, No. 313, § 1.
