Section 27-51-602 - Stop before driving across sidewalk

When in a business or residential district and emerging from an alley, driveway, or building, the driver of a vehicle shall stop the vehicle immediately prior to driving onto a sidewalk or into the sidewalk area extending across any alleyway or private driveway.Acts 1937, No. 300, § 89; Pope's Dig., § 6746; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-646.
