Section 27-52-102 - Penalty for interference with devices in construction areas

(a) Any unauthorized person who willfully moves, covers, uncovers, alters, tampers with, defaces, or damages any sign, signal, or device erected in a construction area to control the flow of motor vehicle traffic or pedestrian traffic in, through, or around the construction area shall be deemed guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.(b) Any person who violates this section in reckless disregard for the safety of human life shall be deemed guilty of a Class D felony.Acts 1981, No. 273, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-508.1.
