The purpose of this subchapter is to promote the public welfare by the reduction of traffic accidents and deaths, injuries, and property damage resulting from accidents and to this end require that all traffic accidents be investigated and reported by qualified law enforcement officers within their jurisdictions.Acts 1967, No. 246, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-922.
