(a) To honor Arkansas's fallen service members, who have served this great country in the United States Armed Forces, and their families, each of the following routes is designated as a 'Gold Star Families Highway': (1) The route along Highway 163 North from its intersection with Highway 42 to its intersection with Highway 310; and(2) The route along Wilbur D. Mills Freeway, also known as 'I-630', from its intersection with I-30 to its intersection with I-430.(b) The Arkansas Department of Transportation shall erect appropriate signs designating each route as a 'Gold Star Families Highway' along:(1) Highway 163 North from its intersection with Highway 42 to its intersection with Highway 310; and(2) I-630 from its intersection with I-30 to its intersection with I-430.Amended by Act 2019, No. 1070,§ 1, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2017, No. 707,§ 397, eff. 8/1/2017.Added by Act 2015, No. 956,§ 1, eff. 7/22/2015.
