Section 27-76-204 - Public corporation status

Upon creation of a regional mobility authority:(1) The regional mobility authority and its members shall:(A) Constitute a public corporation; and(B) Have perpetual succession; and(2) The regional mobility authority and its members may: (A) Contract and be contracted with;(B) Sue and be sued in tort to the extent that it has expressly waived liability in writing; and(C) Have and use a common seal.Acts 2007, No. 389, § 1.
