Section 28-51-108 - Exchange of property

Whenever it shall appear upon the petition of the personal representative or of an interested person to be for the best interest of the estate to exchange any real or personal property of the estate for other property, the court may authorize the exchange upon such terms and conditions as it may direct, which may include the payment or receipt of money by the personal representative. Upon the exchange of personal property or real property, the proceedings for the sale of the respective kinds of property shall be followed as far as applicable.Acts 1949, No. 140, § 146; A.S.A. 1947, § 62-2723.
