Section 28-72-711 - Alternate provisions - Discretion of settlor

A settlor of a spendthrift trust or domestic asset protection trust may by a document creating a spendthrift trust or domestic asset protection trust make separate, different, or alternate provisions other than what is set forth in §§ 28-72-701 - 28-72-710, so long as the settlor uses express, specific language establishing that intent.Added by Act 2023, No. 291,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2023.
