Section 3-3-201 - Unknowingly furnishing or selling to minor

(a) Any person who unknowingly sells, gives away, or otherwise disposes of intoxicating liquor or a confectionary containing between five-tenths of one percent (0.5%) and five percent (5%) by volume of alcohol to a minor is guilty of a violation and shall be punished by a fine of not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) for the first offense.(b) For the second and subsequent offenses, he or she shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.Amended by Act 2017, No. 1035,§ 3, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1943, No. 257, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 48-902.1; Acts 1993, No. 875, § 1; 2005, No. 1994, § 332.
