Section 3-4-221 - Transfer of permitted location

The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board shall not authorize the transfer of a permit to dispense vinous (except small farm wines), spirituous, or malt liquor from one location to another location within a city or town located within a county having a population of two hundred thousand (200,000) or more persons, according to the most recent federal decennial census, if the transfer of the permit to a location in the city or town will result in there being more than one (1) permitted location in the city or town for every seven thousand five hundred (7,500) population in the city or town, according to the most recent federal decennial census.Amended by Act 2019, No. 571,§ 2, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2013, No. 1068,§ 2, eff. 8/16/2013.Acts 1995, No. 861, § 1.
