Section 3-5-1101 - Legislative intent and purpose

(a) The legislative intent and purpose of this subchapter is to provide a structure for the business relations between a wholesaler and a supplier of beer.(b) Regulation in this area is considered necessary for the following reasons:(1) To maintain stability and healthy competition in the beer industry in this state;(2) To promote and maintain a sound, stable, and viable three-tier system of distribution of beer to the public; and(3) To promote the public health, safety, and welfare.Acts 1991, No. 8, § 1; 1991, No. 866, § 1.
