Section 3-8-307 - Effect of vote against sale

If, at any election provided for in this act, a majority of the legal votes cast are against the sale, barter, or loan of spirituous, vinous, or malt liquors, then the sale, barter, or loan of any such liquors shall be unlawful in such county, city, town, district, or precinct, as the case may be, except as provided, unless at a subsequent election held under this act, a majority of the legal votes cast shall be in favor of the sale of the liquors.Acts 1935, No. 108, Art. 7, § 11; Pope's Dig., § 14158; A.S.A. 1947, § 48-817.
