Section 3-8-501 - Definitions

As used in this subchapter:(1) 'Dry' means that the manufacture, sale, barter, loan, or giving away of intoxicating liquors is unlawful in a prescribed area;(2) 'Intoxicating liquors' means all beverages containing more than one-half of one percent (0.5%) of alcohol by weight; and(3) 'Wet' means that the manufacture, sale, barter, loan, or giving away of intoxicating liquors is lawful in a prescribed area.Acts 2005, No. 1258, § 1.
