(a) The Secretary of State may propound to any corporation, domestic or foreign, subject to the provisions of the Arkansas Nonprofit Corporation Act, §§ 4-28-201 - 4-28-206 and 4-28-209 - 4-28-224, and to any officer or director thereof, such interrogatories as may be reasonably necessary and proper to enable him or her to ascertain whether the corporation has complied with all the provisions of the Arkansas Nonprofit Corporation Act, §§ 4-28-201 - 4-28-206 and 4-28-209 - 4-28-224. (b) The Secretary of State shall have such other power and authority reasonably necessary to enable him or her to administer the Arkansas Nonprofit Corporation Act, §§ 4-28-201 - 4-28-206 and 4-28-209 - 4-28-224, efficiently and to perform the duties imposed upon him or her by the Arkansas Nonprofit Corporation Act, §§ 4-28-201 - 4-28-206 and 4-28-209 - 4-28-224.Acts 1963, No. 176, § 17; A.S.A. 1947, § 64-1917.
