Section 4-35-206 - Notice

(a) Notice may be communicated: (1) In person;(2) By telegraph, teletype, telecopier, facsimile, or other similar form of wire or wireless communication; or(3) By mail or private carrier.(b) Written notice, if in a comprehensible form, is effective at the earliest of the following:(1) When received;(2) Two (2) days after its deposit in the United States mail, as evidenced by the postmark, if mailed correctly addressed and with first class postage affixed; or(3) On the date shown on the return receipt if sent by registered or certificated mail, return receipt requested, and the receipt is signed by or on behalf of the addressee.Acts 2003, No. 1330, § 3.
