Section 4-59-303 - Issuance of duplicate bills not so marked

Any officer, agent, or servant of a carrier who with intent to defraud issues or aids in issuing a duplicate or additional negotiable bill for goods, knowing that a former negotiable bill for the same goods or any part of them is outstanding and uncancelled, shall be guilty of a crime and upon conviction shall be punished for each offense by imprisonment not exceeding five (5) years or by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000), or by both.Acts 1941, No. 264, § 46; A.S.A. 1947, § 68-1146.
