Section 4-59-405 - Delivering goods without obtaining negotiable receipt

A warehouseman or any officer, agent, or servant of a warehouseman who delivers goods out of the possession of the warehouseman without obtaining the possession of the receipt at or before the time of the delivery, knowing that a negotiable receipt, the negotiation of which would transfer the right to the possession of the goods, is outstanding and uncancelled shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.Acts 1915, No. 273, § 54; C. & M.
