Section 5-37-212 - Unlawfully using a slug

(a) A person commits the offense of unlawfully using a slug if: (1) With purpose to defraud, the person obtains property or a service sold or offered by means of a coin machine by inserting, depositing, or using a slug in that machine; or(2) The person makes, possesses, or disposes of a slug with purpose to enable a person to use the slug fraudulently in a coin machine.(b) Unlawfully using a slug is a:(1) Class C felony if the value of the property or slug exceeds five hundred dollars ($500); or(2) Class A misdemeanor if otherwise committed.Acts 1975, No. 280, § 2309; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-2309; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 464.
