(a) A person commits the offense of simulating legal process if, with the purpose of obtaining anything of value, he or she knowingly delivers or causes to be delivered to another a request, demand, or notice that simulates any legal process issued by any court of this state.(b) Simulating legal process is a Class A misdemeanor.Acts 1975, No. 280, § 2616; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-2616.
