Any person who knowingly uses, transfers, acquires, or possesses vouchers in any manner not authorized by the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) authorized by the Child Nutrition Act of 1966, 42 U.S.C. § 1771 et seq., as amended, or federal regulations and state rules issued pursuant to the Child Nutrition Act of 1966, 42 U.S.C. § 1771 et seq., if the vouchers are of a value of less than one hundred dollars ($100), is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 154, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1979, No. 714, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 41-4302; Acts 1993, No. 489, § 2; 2005, No. 1994, § 222.
