Section 5-60-124 - Interference with emergency communication in the first degree

(a) A person commits the offense of interference with emergency communication in the first degree if he or she knowingly displaces, damages, or disables another person's telephone or other communication device with the purpose of defeating the other person's ability to request with good cause emergency assistance from a law enforcement agency, medical facility, or other government agency or entity that provides emergency assistance.(b) Interference with emergency communication in the first degree is a Class A misdemeanor.Acts 2007, No. 162, § 1.
