Except as provided in § 5-54-122, a person who in good faith reports a suspected incident of cruelty to animals, § 5-62-103, or aggravated cruelty to a dog, cat, or equine, § 5-62-104, to a local law enforcement agency or to the Division of Arkansas State Police is immune from civil and criminal liability for reporting the incident.Amended by Act 2017, No. 389,§ 5, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 2009, No. 33, § 3.
